Books. - Tina Marie's Ramblings
Red hair and black leather, my favorite colour scheme...
I have a laundry basket full of books in my living room. They're not worth mailing, but if you're local and want them, let me know and you can come get them. They're mostly mass-market junk.

Bring your own laundry basket to take them home, because I'm attached to mine.

If they aren't gone in a few days, they're going to FreeCycle.

Edit: Taken.

Edit 2: Mmm. Cookies. You know, C is for Cookie...

It was better then the Sesame Street song I've been singing all afternoon - the Kermit/Jimmy Buffet version of
Carribean Amphibean

Click on it and listen. I dare you to think of anything else for at least an hour.

I should do my KdF impression for you sometime... I even sing. "It's Not Easy Being Green" or how 'bout "The Rainbow song"?

Consider that a threat ;)

Hi ho!

"It's Not Easy Being Green"! I'm missing that too!

It disturbs me that I don't have that on MP3 anywhere. Guess I'll have to hit iTunes tonight and fix that.

WMA is better... as is AAC . MP3 has a very sharp high and low frequency cutoff. WMA and AAC have more gradual dropoffs resulting in higher quality rips. Especially at lower bit rates. A 48kb WMA sounds waaaay better than a 48kb MP3, but about the same size.

Here's a good comparison test done by ExtremeTech (a Ziff Davis site):

And if you click on the link, you'll see it's really a .wma. I was just using MP3 as a generic term for digital music.

Much to my disbelief, neither "C is for Cookie" nor "It's Not Easy Being Green" are available on iTunes. In fact, I found no Sesame Street music at all, besides the theme song.

I am horribly disappointed in Apple.
