I passed my re-test on the multi.

I am now:

Commercial Pilot, multi-engine land.
Private Pilot, single-engine land.
Private Pilot, glider.
Instrument airplane.

I can now fly something with 0, 1, or more engines, in or out of IMC.

There is no instrument glider rating. You can file/fly IMC in a glider on a ASEL instrument rating.

It can be done. The nearest ILS to the soaring club would be CXO. Glideslope intercept is 2100ft, 5.4 NM from the threshold.

That would mean you could sink 2100 ft over 32,400 ft, or a 15.5:1 glide ratio, easily doable even in a trainer.

But the missed approach is a bitch.
