gods, that's annoying!

i think it would be less annoying if it were "electronic"-sounding beeps and tweedles. (for those of us who grew up during the 1950s and 1960s, that's what a computer is supposed to sound like.)

The sounds are totally configurable, and they have several different themes already available. You could easily put together an electronic one...

ah - i got the impression, from the description and the demo, that the rainforest noises were the only sounds. as it is, if i set up a server here similar to the setup i had before i moved, it wouldn't have enough demands on it to warrant anything that complex anyhow. but as a geek toy, it is amusing...
