Meme of the day. - Tina Marie's Ramblings
Red hair and black leather, my favorite colour scheme...
Meme of the day.
You're butch. You have little use for femininity
because frankly, it never got you anywhere.
Guys may find you intimidating, but once they
get to know you, you're not so bad. You're
empowered and sometimes stand up for women's
and gay rights. If you own a motorcycle, you
probably also know how to strip it and perform
your own repairs. If something bugs you about
your house, fixing it is no problem. You may be
a little shy about decking, tile work,
electrical work, plumbing or hanging windows.
Once you figure out how to do it, there isn't
much holding you back.

You're butch? Count me as shocked.

I think they got me totally wrong. I mean, I'm not the least bit shy about plumbing or electrical work!

You're a softbutch. You're not as comfortable as
other women in feminine dress, but you can
still wear a skirt when forced. Guys only
consider you mildly threatening, if at all. You
attract some men, though most can figure out
you're not into men. You have little trouble
being pals with them. You're not afraid of
tools and if you had the urge, you could
probably handle hanging cabinets or installing
hardwood floors. Still, you're not a motivated
a do-it-yourselfer and usually only get caught
in home improvement projects to impress or
placate the girl you're dating.

i got the same "softbutch" answer as aemilia, but that's bullshit. must've been the question about the shoes - it happens that i actually do wear Birkenstocks almost all the time. the full-on "butch" description fits me much better, especially with regard to tools, repairs, and machinery, and also with regard to my complete lack of "femininity" in dress and demeanor. men have always found me intimidating, unless they choose to think of me as "just one of the guys" - which is a bit frustrating, because my sexual preference is about 65/35 het. ah well, it's not as if i really give a fuck about things like "butch" or "femme" or any other traditional gender roles...
