A rare political rant. - Tina Marie's Ramblings
Red hair and black leather, my favorite colour scheme...
A rare political rant.
I was listening to NPR this afternoon on the way to Mike's. It seems that Bush has changed US policy to support Sharon's peace plan, including supporting the continued existance of settlements on the West Bank.

Why do I have the feeling he's poking at the Arabs with a stick, hoping for another big terrorist attack before the election? After all, that would prove he's right with The War On Terror....

I've never voted for a Democrat in my life - but this time, I'm voting for Anybody Who Isn't Bush.

Current Mood: pissed off pissed off
Current Music: listening to Michael talk about weather

Man, that idea was too cynical even for me. But you could be scarily correct there - I couldn't think of a single reason for supporting this dismantling of the Roadmap up until now.

As one of the few left-leaning moderate voices in rec.aviation, I welcome your new found political savvy.

Maybe they finally figured out that the Arabs aren't joking when they say their goal is to demolish Israel. It must be embarrassing for them to be outfought, outcivilized, and altogether outdone by the one tiny desert country in the middle east that doesn't have any oil.

In the words of Dubya...

High time for a regime change.

[Michael] Still to lazy to get a LiveJournal account. Never voted for a Republican in my life. However, I am putting this Cowboy back in. Someone has got to see the course -- to deviate now would only make the future worse.

You know, it's probably just that I'm too young to remember the last time, but this is the first time I've ever seen so many people have such a strong opinion about political candiates.
