It's alive! - Tina Marie's Ramblings
Red hair and black leather, my favorite colour scheme...
It's alive!
I finished up the bike, finally!

The only thing still not working are the turn signals. I must have blown out the flasher relay. I'm going to try to get one at the auto parts store tomorrow - if I can't find one, I'll order one online. It's out of inspection, and won't pass without the turn signals. But I did ride it to the gas station and filled it up, just to make sure everything else was working:

It's alive!

Current Mood: accomplished accomplished

*grin* A friend was over the other day with her boyfriend, and he spent a good bit of time sitting on it making vroom-vroom noises. And I didn't have my camera!

May also be dodgy wiring. Grounding problems bedevil all motor vehicles electrical systems.

That almost sounded poetic.

It's not, though. The Internet says that the way to test is to run a wire between the two plugs of the flasher, and the lights should come on, but not flash. Mine do, so I ordered one.

$18.some change. Can you imagine how much the aviation version would have been?

Awesome! (from Hiromi)

I admire people who are self-sufficient like that.
