Two more movies out of my queue: "Real Women Have Curves" was, well, quite the chick-flick. A bit on the predictable side, but it was not a bad way to kill an afternoon that I was going to spend on the couch anyway.

Last night was "Saved!". Michael didn't get it, but I really liked it. I went to a clone of that school, so I got it. He was just confused. I was expecting something like "But I'm A Cheerleader", but it reminded me more of "Strange Angel".

Still at home: "Dr. Who And The Robots of Death". Next in the Queue: "Quills" and "Robots".

I've been enjoying NetFlix.

We watched Stealth (which wasn't nearly as bad as I was afraid it was going to be) on Sunday night. And then last night we watched National Treasure, which I thought was really pretty good. Tonight, while I finish some of my Christmas projects (and I have the apartment to myself), I have the Jim Carrey Grinch movie on the TiVo.

Yay for mindless entertainment!

In other news, I tried the Good Eats peanut brittle last night. Unfortunately, I couldn't find my candy thermometer, so it was sort of a failure. The first batch crystallized before I got the peanuts in it. The second batch, I got the peanuts in, but it crystallized as soon as it hit the pan. I left it on the counter to cool anyway.

It's wonderful. It has cinnamon and cayenne pepper in it, so it's spicy and sweet. Since it crystallized around the peanuts, I ended up with something that vaguely resembles honey-roasted peanuts. I brought them to work, and they've been rapidly disappearing from my desk.
