	Disney!
	Disney! Originally uploaded by SkyWhisperer Tina's lesson of the day: Despite what it looks like in movies, the Hollywood sign is not lit at night. This means a quest to go see it, after dark, is bound to end in failure. But that was the end of the day, after a trip to Disney and a quest for a good steak dinner. Disney was fun - Space Mountain is just as fun as it ever was, the new Indiana Jones ride is amazing, and the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse is now the residence of Tarzan. Oh, and I managed to escape without an earworm, since "It's a Small World" is being renovated. Tomorrow, we're thinking about finding a nice boardwalk - if we're here, we should at least stick our toes in the Pacific, then dinner with Aemilia!

It used to be. That's odd. Maybe it wasn't late enough? Or too late? I remember it being lit at night.

I dunno. We went to the place the internet said to go about 10pm (Hollywood and, um, Haywood?), found the big entertainment complex, found the telescopes to look at it, but no luck. So we asked an employee, who looked at me like I was a tourist, and said, "You can't see it at night!".

So we sat outside and had crepes instead.

Why...why...did you have to mention "It's a Small World"! Do you not know how dangerously infectious that song is, that years after going on that blasted ride, that song comes right up and gets lodged deep in the brain!!!111

The first rule of It's A Small World is no one mentions It's A Small World.
