A friend of mine's daughter just gave birth to their first grandson, and I was gift shopping on Amazon.

I found this: The Peepee Teepee for the Sprinkling WeeWee.

And people think America doesn't spend enough money on R&D.

Current Mood: amused amused

Damn, I wish that'd been around 24 years ago! (That's how old my son is....)

True story: He was in the hospital for a solid week after he was born; had some heavy jaundice and they didn't want to let him go until it was under control. So the day comes, time to check him out, doctor takes a peek at him to make sure everything's OK ... and my pride and joy squirts him right in the face! LOL!

At least he had a sense of humour: "Well, we know THAT'S working fine!"

Seriously, I'd've bought it back then. I'm definitely remembering it as a present for my first grandson.

Figures you would like the ones with airplanes. :)

I babysat (nay, raised) my three youngest brothers. I wish I'd had one of these back then.

Oh, I've changed my share of boys over the years - I have two younger brothers. My mother used cloth diapers and real washcloths, so I always just draped the washcloth over the bits that were likely to be a problem while changing them.

I'm mostly just amused someone a) invented something and b) gave it that name. :)

the problem is, you have to somehow whisk the little cloth cone away before you can finish fastening the diaper - and even a newborn will realize that that's the moment for imitating a fountain. (i raised a boy child. i know they do it on purpose.)
