I'm going to try to get back to a post a day. I've been lax about this a lot lately.

Today, I'm going to confess a deep, dark secret: I like Christmas music. All of it - from the old classics to the new stuff.

This time of year, all my friends start complaining about the Christmas music everywhere, and I just have to keep my mouth shut. In the meantime, I'm loading up the iPod with my Christmas playlist....

Current Mood: amused amused

Send me your snail-mail addy at bebo dot 65 at gmail dot com and I'll make you a CD of some of my favorite good/bad/cheesy Christmas tunes.

'Cause I love it too. And I need your addy anyway so I can send you a tasteless holiday card.

I'm exactly the same way! Everyone thinks I'm a big Scrooge..but I listen to the "oldies" Christmas songs nonstop. What's your fave?

I love Xmyth music too. All of it, the cheesier the better.

The wi1dchild and I just watched muppets Christmas carol and sang along with all the songs.

Oh and I have a new displayed name "Hohohoho! Make it last all year!" double entendres deliberate...

I don't think I'll get away with it.

I wait all year so I can listen to A Charlie Brown Christmas by the Vince Guaraldi Trio. That's my absolute favorite.

You'd prolly love it here. Classics such as:

Paul McCartney's 'Simply having a wonderful christmas time' (a song I've hated since I was 6 years old)
'So here it is, Merry christmas everybody having fun' by some loud rock artist who's name escapes me (actually, it's quite a good one, a good one to be drunk to on some nightclub dance floor, and NO you don't want to see me try to dance really you don't!)
'Stop the cavalry' (a slightly darker Christmas song by an artist who I forget)
Probably the Mr Blobby song no doubt

... and many many more most radio stations play over and over...and over.......and over again. Being a listener to Radio 4 though I'm not subjected to this (Radio 4 being a talk station). I don't mind the songs so much, I just don't like listening to the same song six times a day!
